FRSC OPENS A BRANCH AT UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS

This is to inform the University community that the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) [Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), and Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS)] has commenced operations on the University of Lagos campus. The location is along Commercial Road and it is immediately after the Works and Physical Planning office.

Members of the University community and the general public should avail themselves the opportunity to obtain driver’s license, motor vehicle license and other related documents at the new office.

2015/2016 CONVOCATION CEREMONIES: EDUTAINMENT FIESTA HOLDS, JANUARY 24

Activities to commemorate the 2015/2016 Convocation Ceremonies of the University of Lagos will continue on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 with the UNILAG Alumni Association Edutainment Fiesta.

DR BOLAJI OLAWALE SEGUN BAGS TWO SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Scientific Committee on Solar-Terrestrial Physics on Sunday, October 23, 2016 awarded Dr. O. S. Bolaji of the Department of Physics, University of Lagos a Visiting Scholarship (SVS) in the 2016 Scientific Committee on Scholar-Terrestrial Physics (SCOSTEP) for his project title; ‘Response of Equatorial Ionization Anomaly’ at the University of Science and Technology of China.

The Dr. of Physics was also awarded a Scholarship by Nagoya University, Chikusa-ku, Japan to participate in an Institute for Space-Earth Environment Research (ISEE) joint research. The project title is; ‘The Role of day-to-day plasma movement and modifying ionospheric irregularities’.

The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Management, staff and students of the University of Lagos, congratulates Dr. Bolaji Olawale Segun on this remarkable achievement.
