The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development Services), Professor Folasade Ogunsola was invited for a Blueprint Roadmap meeting with the staff of Office of Advancement on a January, 2019. In her advice to the staff, she reiterated that:

 • The Office of Advancement  is in a “making people feel important business
• The need to strengthen the contact/link approaches of alumni in Nigeria and in diaspora. 
• The need to make students feel happy at any given opportunity.
• The need for creation of Alumni groups.
• Recognition of the Parents Forum as major stakeholders in the University.
• E- News is to be further used to promote the University.
• There is also need to recognize prominent Alumni in the University e.g adoption of seat rows with their names inscribed on the seats in noticeable places within the University.
• The need to sow for onward reaping of good fruits in future.

The Director of Office of Advancement, the convener assured the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development Services), that the office remains committed to the advancement programmes of the University. The staff requested for improved Funding management and facilities for consideration. 

The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development Services), promised to cooperate with the Advancement Office to ensure University improved funding. The session was attended by all staff of the office.
