MRS OLUWATOYIN OLAJIDE
MRS OLUWATOYIN OLAJIDE

MRS OLUWATOYIN OLAJIDE

Let me introduce Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide an Alumna of the University of Lagos who has made a good impact in the society; she is the second-most powerful person in Air Peace after Allen Onyema, who is the Chairman of Air Peace.

The aviation industry was once dominated by men. It was not possible to find a single female pilot in Nigeria some years ago. Though there are women in the profession now, the men still see it as an all male club and have been guarding it jealously from female intrusion or incursion. The profession is still hunted by male prejudices. However women are slowly, steadily but surely making progress as they take to flying, a profession which a few years ago was exclusively managed by men.

Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide a pacesetter in the aviation industry, obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in the University of Lagos and graduated with a First Class Honours. Olajide‘s journey with Air Peace began in 2014 when she joined as the head of safety.

She’s in charge of the day-to-day activities of Air Peace as COO of the airline, and then reports to the owner and chairman of the airline, she is the only female COO of a Nigerian airline at the moment.

It is therefore a great pleasure to celebrate another brand ambassador who has been doing us proud, MEET Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide the Air Peace Airline Chief Operating Officer.

OSHIORENOYA AGABI (Also known as Osh Agabi)

OSHIORENOYA AGABI (Also known as Osh Agabi)

Osh Agabi is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, who is making us proud. He was admitted into UNILAG in the year 1997 and graduated in the year 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical & Mathematics Physics. It is no longer news that Artificial Intelligence and machine-learning technologies are gaining importance, which in the nearest future are expected to partially or completely transform the way people live, work, and do things generally.

It is my joy to inform you that Osh Agabi is at the forefront of notable development in that space.

Osh Agabi had received funding from tech giants to support his research works. Notable among his research works is the development of “Clinical Cybong”, which is an innovation that intends to become aware of more than 4,000 smells at the same time, with the likelihood of diagnosing a variety of diseases.

Osh Agabi has been able to attract American venture capitalists as a result of developing human cells grown on a computer chip. In one of Agabi’s interviews, he told the world his primary driver is thinking about how the human body essentially functions. He believes the roles of tools in resolving malfunctions of any machinery are critical and must evolve and advance. Human beings are not an exception, medical tools are also needed to diagnose and address whatever issues they face too. This therefore prompted Silicon Valley’s Osh Agabi to lift the lid on Koniku’s disease detection tech.

Founded in 2015, Koniku, which means Immortal in Nigeria’s Yoruba dialect specializes in robotics and synthetic neurobiology. Konikuaims to revolutionize health security through robotics and synthetic neurobiology. Koniku Kore is capable of detecting and interpreting 4,096 different smells at the same time, indicating each person’s state of health.

Koniku Kore has informed the world that every disease has an associated smell signature and that everyone’s bathroom can be used to collect breath in real time which can be used to provide comprehensive clinical-grade data, making every individual the officer of his/her health.

Koniku chip, developed by Agabi and his team, isolated similar brain cells in mice, genetically modified them to carry proteins that allow them to smell the contents of the air, and inserted them into what is calledKoniku chip, to be placed inside the Koniku Kore. Koniku Kore collects air through a mechanical pump and passes it on to the cells.

The cells then detect the smell and give off signals that are interpreted by the device’s on-board computer. It is ideal for home use, weighing just 700 grams.

It is therefore a great privilege to celebrate our brand ambassador who has been doing us proud MEET OSHIORENOYA AGABI (Also known as Osh Agabi).
