As part of the Omele Ariya 2025 Summer Day Camp, pupils of the University of Lagos Women’s Society Nursery and Primary School (ULWS) visited the Office of Advancement, University of Lagos.
The visit, which formed part of their holiday learning and engagement activities, provided the children with a unique opportunity to interact with the University environment and gain first-hand insight into the role of the Office of Advancement in supporting the growth and development of the institution.
“Omele Ariya” is an annual summer programme organized for school children immediately after their examinations, running from Monday, August 4th to Friday, August 29th, 2025. The camp blends fun, creativity, and educational exposure, giving pupils the chance to learn beyond the classroom.
During their time at the Office of Advancement, the pupils were warmly received, taken on a tour of the facility, and engaged in interactive sessions that highlighted the importance of partnerships, alumni relations, and resource mobilization in building a stronger University of Lagos.
The lively atmosphere of the visit captured the spirit of Omele Ariya, a balance of learning, discovery, and excitement making it a memorable experience for both the pupils and the staff of the Office of Advancement.
